I’m sitting here wracking my brain at how best to describe Hannah and James. Their love is SO pure. I think the best word I can muster is ‘sweet’. Their love is sweet. I’ve known these two for a long time! When you attend parochial school K-8 with the same 50 people, there’s a certain bond that’s developed. It’s really indescribable and truly special. Reconnecting with some of these long-lost buddies in my professional life has been so much fun! –Anyway! Hannah has ALWAYS been sweet. She was this quiet, beautiful, little angel girl in our class. I didn’t know James as well until I spent time with them at their engagement session, but it took about 0.5 seconds to realize they were perfect for each other. James has such a tender way of taking care of Hannah. He is always aware of where she is, what she needs, and they don’t even speak, James just moves. I just made that sound like Hannah is a needy diva and that couldn’t be further from my intention! What I meant to articulate is how James has a peaceful nurturing nature that is the masculine compliment to Hannah’s sweetness. It’s honestly perfect!
You guys I swear I don’t mean to creepily analyze your love for each other but it was just too darn cool to witness. I can’t tell you how special it was for me to document your wedding. Thank you for such a great experience!

Let’s start with some details. HyVee is like the dark horse of wedding planning, just FYI, and they knocked Hannah’s florals out of the park!
I love the color pallete of this wedding. I shouldn’t be surprised though, Hannah’s a clothing designer. She kinda knows what she’s doing. NBD.
This dress was Hannah’s mom’s. She altered it, and made it her own.
Are these not the cutest, not to mention comfiest, little wedding shoes you’ve ever seen?! Oh, and you guessed it, the shoes started out white and Hannah added the illustrations herself.
These girlies were so giggly and fun! 🙂
This might be my favorite candid of the year! The light is so darn purdy, and then this pup shows up?! You’re kidding.
Hehe, these guys were fun!
How gorgeous is Riverwood?!
Let me just say that this photograph is 100% candid. I’m not even sure they knew I took it. It was right after their ceremony, before we started their family formals.
Hannah used to be a model. I don’t think I covered that earlier, but I mean it’s clearly self explanatory.
I literally can’t EVEN with their Couple’s Portraits. I don’t even think my venti iced caramel macchiato with whip can… kidding. Obvi. BUT in all seriousness, I do like them. 🙂
James’ ring had ‘Love Loyalty Friendship’ engraved on the inside of his band. Talk about a stand up guy.
I couldn’t resist sharing this image of James with his grandma.
I had the best time documenting this wedding! Thank you James and Hannah for including me in your day! 🙂
