These two are the sweetest together! The more time I spent with them, the more I realized how well they compliment each other. They aren’t the in your face- ooey gooey types. Don’t get me wrong, they’re amazing together, but it’s so deep, they just don’t need to be that way. I may even venture to say, that Josh comes across as a bit intimidating! He’s a tough, clean cut guy that absolutely adores Chelsi. She brings out the sweetness in him, and as I asked them to interact more, the more I saw a glimpse of the tenderness he treats her with. They met Crossfit, and the rest is history. Their sweet daughter, Harper, will be the flower girl in their September wedding at The Bauer, and I couldn’t be more excited to meet her! Happy Mother’s Day, Chelsi!! Enjoy our industrial KC engagement creations below! 🙂
When I first started chatting with Chelsi about her ideas for their shoot, she was so go with the flow and up for anything! She explained that they don’t get to spend a lot of time just the two of them, as they have a new baby, and it would be nice to just enjoy some stillness together. So we planned a range of outfits and locations to get a nice variety of locations and images. I love some of the spots we found in the West Bottoms- a perfect place to start an Industrial KC Engagement.
Kessler Park is a hidden gem! It’s got such a specific, turn of the century, Italian style. I love pergolas, and the only thing I love more than a pergola, is an Italian stone pergola! These two love birds looked so great too, so naturally, we made some more amazing shots for them just to have! That’s why I love Engagement photos. Most people do them to have professional images for Save the Dates, but I like them for a few reasons:
