Who knew you could meet the love of your life at the beach on Spring Break?! As fun-loving and cool as Kyra and Chad are, meeting over Spring Break in college doesn’t do their connection justice. Their relationship is rooted in faith and devotion to each other, but most of all to the Lord. Their Shadow Glen Country Club wedding was nothing short of pure GORGEOUSNESS. From the florals to the decor, to the beautiful location at Shadow Glen Golf Club, every detail was perfect.
Chad and Kyra, I can’t tell you how special it was to be trusted to document your day. I wish you nothing but wedded bliss!! Oh- and WPS!! <3
xoxo Felicia
Kyra incorporated a beautiful color scheme of gold and burgundy into all of the wedding details
Kyra’s flowers were all done by Good Earth Floral. Her bouquet was full of pink roses, burgundy dahlias, lots of greenery.
Girls Getting Ready
Chad and his groomsmen had such a cool space to get ready in! Sometimes the guys are a bit slighted, given the extent that us ladies get ready for special occasions, but not this time! The locker room at Shadow Glen was super architectural and allowed for some great getting ready shots!I love the tradition of writing notes to each other before the ceremony. Chad and Kyra opted not to see each other before the wedding, so this was their way of communicating and get excited for their vows!
Chad is dapper AND goofy. A great combo to discover during portrait time. 😉
Kyra and her girls were on their A-game the entire time. I don’t think I caught one image of anyone looking less than a 10. These girls do glamour right!
Mismatched bridesmaid styled dresses is a great way to allow each girl to put her own twist on the cohesive vibe of their look as one. I love some of these styles they ended up selecting!
I might venture to say these are my favorite bridesmaids portraits of all time… these girls are literally glowing and gorgeous.
These ladies go glamour and goof better than their male counterparts!Â
The image below is completely candid. It’s something I snapped while the videographer was taking some footage of them- so much fun in one shot!
Talk about a stunning ceremony site- Shadow Glen’s terrace is no joke! The timing with the daylight and the sunset pictures we planned could not have been more perfect!
All I can say, is magic happens when you plan your entire wedding around the sunset. I know it sounds crazy, but when Kyra first came to me and told me the look she wanted, I gave her the suggestion of exactly when during the day would be ideal for those types of images. She didn’t hesitate for a second, and planned the entire wedding day timeline around when we wanted to take pictures. Let me just say- it paid off ten fold.
The perfection of this day, didn’t end with the setting sun. After our portraits the party began, and every detail was perfect.
These 3 images that were snapped within the span of the same three minutes may summarize their love in a nutshell. They are so happy and happy to be TOGETHER. It’s love.
Lesson of the day: Razorbacks know how to party. The end.Â
