I’m so excited to share Meghan and Mike’s Sioux Falls Wedding photos!! These two high school sweet hearts (*swoon*) were married at St. Lambert’s Catholic Church, and celebrated with friends and family at the lovely Brandon Golf Club. Meghan’s effortless beauty and sweet personality and Mike’s fun-loving energy made for the most amazing day, and some stunning images!! We lucked out with the most perfect weather, and that was just the tip of the perfection iceberg. Take a look at their gorgeous wedding styled with navy, neutrals, and tons of greenery!

Bridal Party Portraits

As you’ll notice in about 3 seconds, this bridal party was a blast. The trolley ride set the tone, and they only got more amazing as the day progressed. We headed to Mary Jo Wegner Arboretum for some gorgeous, natural scenery. Just wait… natural is putting it modestly. 😉

**Just a side note: I could have quite possibly posted this entire wedding in black and white. Meghan and Mike and their friends had this lovely combination of a boho and classic aesthetic, so please excuse my spastic transitions between color and black and white– I was so indecisive!!  ^Someone yelled, ‘Sorority girl squat!!’ and the following ensued. hah! I loved it.

This setting made me so happy, I’m not even sure how to put it into words… Maybe it feels like Neverland? or Fern Gulley? Either way, it’s tip top.

How cool are the little berries in Meghan’s bridesmaids bouquets? I loved the subtle way the florist incorporated the girls’ navy dress color. 

How cute is Mike, carrying Meg’s shoes?!

2 words: pure bliss. Mike couldn’t look more elated, and Meghan can barely stop smiling long enough to kiss him on the cheek. <3

It’s not every wedding that I can convince a bride to crawl down a ravine with me, and she’s totally cool as a cucumber about it. Meghan and Mike love hiking and adventuring together, so this rocky creek was so fitting to shoot for them! 

Reception at Brandon Golf Club

After shooting in that gorgeous creek, we headed to their wedding reception at Brandon Golf Club! This venue had such a great back deck area with a stunning view of the course, especially at sunset!

Sunset Portraits of the Bride and Groom

You know me. I drool over the golden hour. We were so lucky to get fabulous weather, and thus fabulous light for their Sioux Falls wedding photos!

Here’s a little peek at what it feels like to steal the bride and groom away from the reception… we snag a bridesmaid for backup, cutie little ones tag along, and we run into golfers who so graciously share the course with us. Liz, the bridesmaid that joined us, actually set these two up in high school! She also was tying to try her hand at shooting with my camera. Excellent effort, Liz!! 😉

The Party

Meghan and Mike began the rest of the evening with their first dance together. Queue the Jack Johnson, ‘Better Together.’

Meghan and Mike- I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to be welcomed with open arms and capture your most precious day. I am so happy for you both!
