When I first met with Stacy and Uriel I knew their wedding was going to be special. These two met in dancing class. Talk about romantic!! They were both taking lessons and quickly realized they might like to spend time with each other off of the dance floor. Dance has been a common thread through their love story. When Uriel proposed to Stacy at Union Station, it started off with members of their dance class dancing in the Grand Hall, lead by their instructor. As they got closer to the dancing, Stacy realized who the dancers were – Uriel had planned the whole thing! Uriel proposed, and her family was there to witness the special moment! How cool is that?! Watching them dance at their reception with such finesse only lead me to realize that dance is intertwined with their love. It’s almost their own personal ‘love language’. I loved seeing the joy it brought them and could tell how special dancing together on their wedding day actually was. It was such a beautiful wedding at a vineyard on a SUPER smoldering day, but every last detail was perfect.
Stacy made sure to include everyone in her getting ready process, each bridesmaid, personal attendant, and especially her mom got to help with something different. Her momma is in the photo below, beaming with pride.
Some of my favorite portraits happen right after getting ready. There is so much energy and excitement about what’s ahead!
After getting ready, we headed to Riverwood Winery for their first look!
Uri took his jacket off and whipped it over his shoulder without me saying a word! I’m sure the heat had nothing to do with it… 😉
You can’t get married at a Vineyard and not take pictures in the grape vines!
Some gorgeous ladies in some gorgeous gowns! I love a little sparkle!
Stacy and Uri had such a beautiful outdoor ceremony!
The uniqueness of florals at weddings these days doesn’t cease to impress me! I love these fall colors! (And notice Uri’s wine cork boutonniere – so clever!)
The reception was full of personal touches! Each guest got a mason jar to use for the evening and take home!
There was an elegant reception barn too!
Naked cakes are so rustic and chic!
I loved the string lights over the outdoor dance floor. Such ambiance!
Stacy serenaded her dad during their first dance. It was so sweet and amazingly special!
Uriel is a goofball! He made Stacy laugh like that all day!
They owned that dance floor! During the dollar dance, Uri and Stacy changed dance styles with each new partner! It was pretty darn impressive!
See how crowded that dance floor is? Everyone had so much fun celebrating!
Stacy and Uri, it was such a blast getting to know you and being able to document every little detail of your day! I wish you all the best and a lifetime of happiness and dancing!!
