These two couldn’t be a more perfect energy match. They’re light-hearted, funny, and sincere. Hanging with them, driving around their property in a pick-up truck with with the windows down, climbing over barbed wire fences, and stopping at some of their favorite spots was so. much. fun. I felt like I was walking down memory lane with them, as each spot was full of memories and fun little backstories. The “big city” discounts a country life, but I think people like these two have their priorities straight. They know how to work and love and build a rich life, and it’s a beautiful, lost art. This farmhouse is the one of Chelsea’s dreams, and her engagement ring is one that Ben designed specifically intended to be a new heirloom for their family. They’re sweet people I’m lucky to call friends and even fellow wedding gurus! (well, Chelsea at least!) She is actually the GM (read: magician) behind the Kansas City venue, 1890 Events. I say magician because events there are flawless and it’s all her handiwork! (Click here to see weddings I’ve shot there)
I’ve blabbed on long enough. Scroll through their sweet Farmhouse Engagement session below.
