Tom and Aly were married on the most beautiful (and warm!) June day at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Their wedding was chic, heart-felt, and had no shortage of smiles, happy tears, and excited dance moves. These two met through work- each a vital part of Kansas City’s Sports Media – Aly, a sports broadcaster, and Tom, a storytelling director for Let It Fly sports media agency. It only seemed fitting that their wedding take place in the heart of Kansas City, where they met, and a city with a deep sense of hometown pride.

Some of my favorite moments from the day included candid moments of Aly and her sweet momma helping her get ready, a portrait of Tom in front of the cameras he’s normally opposite, their beautiful ceremony, and the jaw dropping surprise Tom’s late father, Earle, sent straight from heaven. Normally, a storm on your wedding day wouldn’t be a highlight, but this one was extra special! Just after Tom & Aly cut their cake, the sky began to shift into the most vibrant orange color and a rainbow appeared and lasted through the couple’s first dance. Considering Tom’s father was a pilot, the signal of his presence wasn’t missed by a soul – we were awe-struck at his bold, beautiful, perfectly timed gift.
