Jason and Ashley were all about demonstrating their KC pride, and making sure their photos incorporated some of their favorite KC spots! 

Ashley came to me with so many fun KC inspired ideas! The shuttlecock at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art was definitely a non-negotiable.
If that’s not classic KC, I don’t know what is!After The Nelson, we took a quick stop by Loose Park- such a classic KC photo spot! 

I couldn’t resist the light along this wall!! The sun is so warm, Jason and Ashley look like they’ve caught fire!! It’s not possible to do a KC shoot and not include Union Station!

Notice that Ashley’s ring is a black diamond. Yeah, she’s pretty much a badass! (It’s my blog, I can swear if I want to!)

This might by one of my favorite candid engagement shots! LOVE it!!

I don’t always have clients who are interested in a night shot, so I get excited when I get to do cool stuff like that! ^^
