About 6 months ago I ordered Lo & Sons Claremont camera bag for my first trip to New York, and dare I say it changed my life. I have several camera bags including a ThinkTank Airport International V2.0, Ona Brixton, and Manfrotto sling backpack. They’re all amazing in their own way but the Claremont is extra special and I wanted to share my obsession, and why I think any girl who travels with a camera other than her iphone, needs to snag one stat!
Typically, with a quality camera bag, comes a hefty tow. The Claremont, albeit fully padded complete with inserts, is extremely light weight! When you’re walking around a city all day, every ounce matters.
This was my main reason for purchasing– the rest of it is just gravy. As a solo female traveler, unfortunately you have to be extra cautious. I like the the Claremont looks like a normal purse so you’re inconspicuous and don’t have the proverbial target on your back that can accompany carrying around expensive gear.
This is self-explanatory. Hands free. 🙌🏼
I’ve traveled with two different configurations, and neither one was overcrowded. This bag fit setup 1: Canon 5D mark iii with 24-70 f/2.8L II OR setup 2: Fujifilm X-T2 with a lens AND a Fujifilm Instax polaroid camera. Both of these were a comfortable fit and easy to get in and out of the bag- no finagling required.
— not to mention it matches everything. It comes in 3 leathers (black, cognac, or light gray), has a cute little gold toggle clasp, and the setup is brilliant. The entire bag is padded with a quilted pattern, it comes with a removable insert, and there is an external pocket on the back that is perfect for your passport/wristlet/phone (or all three).
