Surprise Proposal at Union Station Kansas City

Let me just tell ya the cutest story about this proposal at Union Station-

 

Carley is the sister of one of my recent grooms, Jordan. About two weeks before Jordan’s wedding to his sweet wife Anna, Fran reached out to book photography for the proposal he’d been planning. He and I get everything squared away. We’ve figured out the best timing, where he’ll be, where I’ll be- the whole nine yards. Jordan & Anna’s wedding rolls around and Fran and I make knowing eye contact because the proposal is just a few weeks away, and we’ve got everything lined up! In the weeks between her brother’s wedding and the proposal she knows nothing about, Carley reaches out to me on Instagram to start the booking process for her upcoming wedding. She explains that she’s not engaged yet, but she knows she wants me to document their Big Day, and that dates book quickly! As I’m reading her messages, I can’t help but smile. Little does she know, Fran has already booked me to photograph the proposal! What an attentive guy to know Carley so well that he not only hired a photographer to document the excitement, but he made sure that it was the very one she had her sights set on for their big day!

 

Needless to say, I was so excited to photograph this epic moment, and we’re well on our way to planning an amazing wedding day for these two next Fall! Congratulations, Fran & Carley!!
