The Golden Hour was made for romantic photos of two people in love- I’m thoroughly convinced. I love the way the light adds to the emotion and connection between a couple, and Emily and Zach were no exception!
Warning: If you plan to hang out with Emily and Zach for more than an hour, your mouth WILL get sore from smiling. These two enjoy the heck out of each other and their fun is infectious!
Emily and Zach’s first date was at a coffee shop, so it seemed like a no brainer to incorporate that into their engagement shoot. I mean of course I had no objections to a latte pit stop!
Emily and Zach love the variety of textures that downtown KC has to offer, especially because they’ll be getting married in a small town in Kansas. I of course love texture too, and the only thing better than texture is when I get to shoot texture AND love all during the golden hour.
This next series comprises my favorite golden hour portraits we were able to snag. The sliver of light under the dark bridges created an amazing contrast and moody vibe. So gorgeous! These two rocked it!! (and thanks for not judging me when I seemingly aimlessly wandered under these obscure bridges )
These are quite possibly my favorite candids. ever. Who needs the golden hour, when you have such vibrant, goofballs willing to imitate each other’s dance moves! We were all dying!
Emily and Zach,
I am beyond excited for your wedding this september! I know that we’re going to have a blast and capture some amazing memories!
See you soon!
