It relieves me that they say ‘a picture’s worth 1,000 words’ because I certainly don’t have words apt enough to encapsulate this beautiful day. It seems like yesterday and forever ago that I photographed Lex & Gabe in NYC (see their engagement session here), when we were all living there. After 3 years of planning (an extra thanks to Covid) these two FINALLY got to celebrate with their friends and family in Kansas City. To say that they thought of every detail would be a gross understatement and a poor representation of who this couple is. Lex and Gabe are some of the kindest humans; not the ‘nice to be around’ types, they’re deeply generous, unassuming, silly and thoughtful to the core. This entire day was to celebrate their love, but also to provide an incredible experience for everyone they love in a city that holds a lot of meaning to them and their family.
