One of the things I love about being photographer, is that I get to participate in some extremely special moments in people’s lives! I had the opportunity to capture my friend Missy, and her husband Alex’s Baby Announcement! This probably sounds a little overdramatic, but I honestly can’t think of two more deserving people of such a blessing.

I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Missy on a personal level after we connected through photography. (Which, by the way, if you’ve never seen the magic she works in lifestyle photography and children’s portraiture, I highly recommend you check her site out here.) Missy is a child whisperer behind the camera. I honestly don’t know how she does it. Missy even donates a percentage of her business profits to the A21 campaign, which if you didn’t know, is an organization to abolish 21st century human sex trafficking in the US.

Beyond that, she and her husband, Alex, devote every step of their lives to the Lord. Their patience in waiting for this baby is such a great example of what it means to fully trust in God’s plan for each of us.  <— If these people don’t sound like the makings of an incredible foundation for a family, I don’t know who does.
