Rachel never imagined that she’d end up with one of the guys in her high school friend group, but Alex had other plans in store for her future. He’d had a crush on Rachel for years until she finally agreed to date him the summer before their Senior year. They continued to date throughout college, despite going to school in different states.

It was while attending the University of Nebraska that I met Rachel. We lived in the same dorm and eventually became roommates. Rachel and I have the kind of friendship that is difficult to find- we have similar personalities, and even though we live 3 states apart and rarely get to see each other, we pick up where we left off as if no time has passed. It’s a pretty cool relationship, and we both feel super blessed to have found each other.

Rachel is one of my dearest friends and I was thrilled to hear that Al had finally popped the question earlier this year! He is completely selfless, an absolute gentleman, and everything I could ever hope Rachel would find in a husband. I was delighted to catch up with them and capture such a special time in their lives, and I can’t wait for their wedding next Spring!!
