Ryan and Shannon celebrated their Urban Wedding at The Monarch Room in Downtown Kansas City, surrounded by their friends and family. Take a look at their perfect day below. 🙂
Is this not the coolest getting ready location ever? I felt like I was on the east coast! This is Shannon’s mom’s home and it was such a gorgeous, not to mention meaningful, location for all of the girls to gather and get ready at.
Shannon wore a beautiful gown by Essense of Australia. The lace, beading, and silhouette complimented her personality perfectly!
I can’t resist the puppy/bride portraits. There were about 5 of these and I had half a mind to post every single one. 😉
^^ Shannon’s niece, Reagan, is quite the ham-bone. There are several funny pictures like this one of her in their wedding gallery. #futureblackmail
^^ I LOVE this shot. I’m telling you, this house was the perfect place to get ready. Shannon’s mom should consider Air BnB-ing it to bridal parties… just sayin’.
Ryan and the guys are so fun and super sharp dressers. Any groom that chooses Zara over Men’s Warehouse is a keeper in my book! Way to do you, dude! An Urban Wedding suited his style perfectly.
Ryan’s. Jaw. Dropped. That’s all.
The reception decor was impeccable and I wasn’t the least bit surprised. Shannon is a Wedding and Event Coordinator for a local Country Club, and the girl knows what’s up. She put together a beautiful wedding.
Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Ryan and Shannon had Topsy’s Popcorn and Lamar’s Donuts for dessert!
Shannon and Ryan,
I’m so thankful you chose me to document your day! I had a blast, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the two of you! Wishing you all the best.
